What I do:
Maggie is pursuing her DrPH from the University of Albany and works as a Research Scientist for SNAP-Ed in the Evaluation Research and Surveillance Unit of the Division of Nutrition. She is supporting the program evaluation efforts for two statewide SNAP-Ed programs – one provides direct education and support for policy, systems, and environmental change in preschools and the other in food pantries and farmers’ markets. She has previous experiences as a program manager at Docs for Tots where she managed learning collaboratives, implemented practice changes in a variety of settings, and conducted program evaluations using a quality improvement framework. From Spring 2018 – Spring 2021, she worked as an adjunct faculty member in Hofstra’s school of health professions and human services. When she is not working, Maggie enjoys reading and hiking as much as she can.
