Topic: Non-sugar Sweeteners: Current evidence on health effects and implications for policy

We will first discuss the current evidence regarding the role of non-sugar sweeteners in weight management and diet-related chronic disease and highlight key knowledge gaps. We will then describe existing and potential policies and other actions to address the increasing use of non-sugar sweeteners in foods and beverages and invite the audience to suggest additional and innovative approaches.
