Kate Garrity is a doctoral candidate in Nutritional Sciences at the University of Michigan's School of Public Health. As a Registered Dietitian (RD), her work centers on creating innovative interventions to address food and nutrition insecurity, as well as other health-related social needs. Kate is committed to advancing health equity, with a particular focus on preventing and managing chronic diseases in historically marginalized communities.
