What I do:
Nan Dou is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Population, Family, and Reproductive Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Nan completed her PhD (in 2022) and BS (in 2015) in Nutritional Sciences at Penn State, and her MS (in 2018) in Nutrition at UMass Amherst. Nan’s research interests focus on understanding the mechanisms leading to health disparities in children and their caregivers from disadvantaged households, particularly with interests in modifiable factors, such as nutrition security, diet, family routines on dietary behaviors, and psychosocial exposures, in relation to nutritional outcomes.
